17. Use of helping verbs/ Lecture 2

 

Use of Is, am, are, was, were​In that situation, it is a linking verb. It doesn't describe an action. It tells us more about the subject of the sentence.

اس صورت حال میں ، یہ ایک منسلک فعل ہے۔ ... یہ کسی عمل کی وضاحت نہیں کرتا۔ یہ ہمیں جملے کے موضوع کے بارے میں مزید بتاتا ہے۔

5. It is good weather.    اچھا موسم ہے۔

6. I am well thanks.  میں ٹھیک ہوں شکریہ۔

9. You are brilliant in English. آپ انگریزی میں شاندار ہیں۔
